Winter Guard

| Posted at 21:40 o 01 Dec 2004

As you know, Winter Guard is here. I sent out an email from Mr. Bertles last night and a few parents have questions. I hope this will answer them for you.

The cost will be kept to a minimum. We did so well from this past marching season as far as budget in hopes of having a good budget for winter guard.

There is no "per say" fee for winter guard. There will be a few out of pocket expenses that you will have to pay for. For example, depending on the type of show, certain makeup and/or hair accessories will have to be purchased. If other items need to be purchased, you will be made aware of it as soon as possible.

We have 2 (two) shows that will be out of town. These dates are as follows:

March 11, 12, 13, 2005. We will leave for South Carolina (times to be determined) on Friday, March 11 and return home on Sunday March 13. We will let you know as to where we will be staying and the cost of the rooms as soon as that is determined.
April 1, 2, 3, 2005. We have an evening rehearsal on the schedule already (April 1) & then leave for Chattanooga TN (times to be determined) We will be returning home on Sunday April 3. Again, we will let you know where we will be staying and the cost of the rooms as soon as we know.

For the most part practices will be in the gym at the OLD High School on Monday's & Thursday's from 6-9 pm. If there is a change, we'll let you know. As soon as we get the schedule finalized, you will get a new calendar with all of the info.

See you @ practice and have a good week back after the long week off.
